The service
Name Card Scanner reads business cards from photos and saves the details as contacts. It is free to use, offered as is, and may change or stop at any time.
Using it fairly
- Only scan cards you were given or are allowed to keep, and handle the contacts as the law where you live requires.
- Don't try to get around the daily limits, overload the service, or use it to collect contact details in bulk without permission.
- If you add your own Gemini key or Telegram bot, you're responsible for that key or bot and for Google's and Telegram's terms that apply to it.
Accuracy
Card reading is done by AI and can make mistakes. Check important details, such as phone numbers, before relying on them.
No warranty
The service is provided without any warranty. To the extent the law allows, there is no liability for lost, wrong or duplicated contacts, or for any loss from using the service.
Privacy
How your photos and data are handled is set out in the privacy policy.
